The event was schedule in a connecting hall between an eating place and a large study area in the Arkansas Union (the SUB). Consequently, people were walking through the entire time. That included a tour with the tour guide trying to talk over the speakers.

Most of the speakers were non-Indians/non-indigenous.

This English professor began by providing his pedigree of authenticity as an Indian.
